The LI Herald reports that Liberty Natural Gas LLC has withdrawn its application to the U.S. Maritime Administration and U.S. Coast Guard to construct the Liberty Offshore Project, an LNG terminal proposed to be located in offshore New Jersey. Liberty stated that it would submit a new application once additional studies and surveys had been completed to reflect a completely redesigned and scaled back project.
